Leicester City are “confident” they can get a deal over the line for Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The reliable Italian journalist says there are “many clubs” pursuing the 23-year-old but the Foxes are moving quickly in order to ensure they get their man:
Leicester are in advanced talks to sign Odsonne Édouard from Celtic, now working to complete the deal – many clubs interested so #LCFC keen to secure it quickly.

There are a lot of clubs that have been linked with Edouard in recent months, including the likes of Arsenal, West Ham and Southampton but Leicester have always been seen as the favourites.
A transfer fee of between £15m and £18m had been reported and, considering the Frenchman has just one year left on his contract, Celtic can’t really ask for much more than that.
Edouard scored 22 goals in all competitions last season and, if he does leave the Hoops in the coming days and weeks, a large sum needs to be invested to make sure they get a good enough replacement.
