Serie A Champions Lining Up Surprise Move For 20M Rated Celtic Ace

Inter Milan have joined the lengthy list of clubs interested in signing Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard, according to reports in Italy.

The Serie A champions are said to be looking at freshening up their squad with younger players, following the appointment of Simone Inzaghi as head coach, and they see Edouard as a good backup option for Romelu Lukaku.

Rivals AC Milan are also interested in Edouard, though, with Leicester still said to be favourites to snap up the 23-year-old. Arsenal, West Ham, Southampton and Brighton are the other teams who have been mentioned as potential suitors in the English media.

From Celtic’s perspective, it is promising to hear that so many clubs are now interested in the Frenchman, and the Hoops should be more confident about a team matching their £20m asking price.

It is believed that the Scottish club will have to hand over a sizeable portion of any transfer fee to Paris Saint-Germain, who reportedly have a sell-on clause on Edouard, so it is very important to get the highest fee possible for the striker.
