Celtic centre-back Moritz Jenz has had an impressive start to life at Parkhead after arriving from Lorient in the summer.
The 23-year-old has started 14 games this season already, taking advantage of the fact that Carl Starfelt has been sidelined with injury since the derby against Rangers.
Jenz is on loan until the end of the campaign but the Scottish champions do have the option to buy the defender. Most supporters on Twitter feel he has already done enough to earn a permanent move to Glasgow:
Yes I’d sign him up

Would sign him. Shown to be very capable of playing or coming in for starfelt. Still tho concerned at the number of goals conceded

If he’s £3-4m then id say yes, the European experience he’s got this year, the fact he’ll understand the demands of playing for Celtic and what the manager wants from this team, it’d represent good value, still want 1 more as well though

I would personally! I feel he’s a good addition to the squad tbh!

I’d keep him for sure.

A no brainer for me! Well worth 3,5mil and in my opinion better than Julien was!

He is better than I hoped he would be, we would be daft not to take up the option.

Definitely, has been a very good partner for CCV at the back. As a back up for Starfelt is ideal

Definitely. I think he’s been good for us. Steady in defence and can contribute the odd goal or two.🍀

It will be interesting to see what happens when Starfelt is fully fit. The Swedish international developed a strong partnership with Cameron Carter-Vickers but Jenz is certainly making a case for himself to be starting regularly alongside the American.
The German does need to improve certain areas of his game but you would have to say that, if a decision had to be made now, there would be no misgivings about buying the player.
