Celtic target Christopher Scott “intends to stay in Germany” if he leaves Bayern Munich this summer, according to Sky Sport Deutschland reporter Florian Plettenberg.
Reports in Ghana had suggested that the Hoops were close to signing the German Under 20 international for £250,000 but, when asked about the claims, Plettenberg said that a move to Scotland was not on the cards.
War nie die Rede von. Wir haben von Gesprächen berichtet, die auch geführt worden sind. Scott will aber nicht ins Ausland. Er hat vor, in Deutschland zu bleiben.

Bayern are said to have triggered their option to extend Scott’s contract for a further year but the 20-year-old is still expected to leave the Allianz Arena for a low fee in the coming weeks.
Bundesliga 2 outfit Fortuna Dusseldorf are reportedly favourites to secure the attacking midfielder’s signature. While the German club only finished midtable in the second tier last season, the player is said to be interested in the transfer after discussions about a move took place. It seems that there is no chance of Scott making the switch to Celtic Park.
