Celtic are leading a number of clubs in the race to sign Vitoria Guimaraes midfielder Alfa Semedo, according to reports in the Portuguese media.
The 24-year-old only moved to his current club last summer but it appears that the player has already been deemed surplus to requirements. Unsurprisingly, supporters on Twitter are not particularly excited about the prospect of Semedo joining the Hoops:

We don't need players with attitude problems.

Semedo has spent a bit of time in the UK previously, having had loan spells at English Championship sides Nottingham Forest and Reading, but he hardly pulled up any trees with his performances.
The midfielder isn’t the most disciplined of players either, having been sent off on three occasions for Vitoria last season. However, it should also be pointed out that he didn’t receive a red card during his 66 appearances in England.
It’s probably fair to say, though, that there are better options out there if Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou wants to reinforce his midfield. With Lommel midfielder Vinicius Souza also a target, it’s likely that the Brazilian is higher up the list of options than Semedo.
