Southampton Set To Offer Forster In Exchange For Unwanted Celtic Star

Southampton are considering offering Fraser Forster in a potential bid for Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham, according to the Scottish Sun.

It is claimed that the Hoops are willing to let the Frenchman leave Parkhead this summer, with Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl said to be keen on snapping up the 24-year-old.

His captain Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is expected to leave the English club, with both Tottenham and Everton reportedly interested in the Dane, and it seems Ntcham is being eyed as his replacement.

Celtic will certainly be open to Forster being part of the deal for the midfielder, with manager Neil Lennon having already expressed his desire for the Southampton player to return to the Scottish champions after an outstanding loan spell.

With the Saints believed to be keen on getting the keeper off their books as well, due to his high salary, a part-exchange deal does have a good chance of succeeding.
