Celtic are expected to sign Vissel Kobe centre-half Yuki Kobayashi as soon as the transfer window reopens in the New Year, according to reports in Japan.
It is believed that an agreement has been reached between the Hoops and Kobe, with personal terms unlikely to be an issue.
Although the vast majority of fans on Twitter admit that they have never seen Kobayashi play, they are hopeful that he will be a success in Scotland:

Celtic have had a mixed track record when bringing in imports from the J League since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou as manager.
Kyogo Furuhashi has been outstanding, but Daizen Maeda has struggled for form this season, after starting his Hoops career in fine style, while Yosuke Ideguchi has not made an impact whatsoever.
Kobayashi is a young player so he may not be a starter straight away but he will give Celtic greater depth at centre-back.
