Chris Sutton has singled out the contributions of Odsonne Edouard and James Forrest after the Hoops’ narrow win against a stubborn Aberdeen this afternoon:
Big win for Celtic … Aberdeen the better team… Celtic guts it out…the touch from Edouard and the assist from Forrest top class??

Neither player got on the scoresheet but Forrest’s assist for Kristoffer Ajer’s winner was crucial, while Edouard played a helping hand in the lead-up to the goal as well.
When Ash Taylor equalised for the Dons midway through the first half, it was looking like it would be a difficult afternoon for the away side, but Neil Lennon’s men dug in.
It certainly wasn’t the prettiest of performances, and they probably didn’t deserve the three points in truth, but the Hoops keep grinding out results.
Celtic have not dropped a single point since the New Year, making it seven successive wins, and nine victories in all competitions since the home defeat to Rangers back at the end of December. The march to nine in a row goes on.
