Celtic attacking midfielder Tom Rogic got two assists as the Hoops progressed to the Scottish Cup final after a 2-0 win over Aberdeen at Hampden Park yesterday.
The Australian international was on the verge of leaving Parkhead in September before failing to agree personal terms with a club in Qatar. However, he has now created four goals in his last two appearances, and supporters on Twitter are very happy that he didn’t leave the club:
Thank god he didn’t go to Arabia. ????

Why did Lennon want to give him away for a bag of balls When He gives us something no other midfielder has an eye for a quick pass

Rogic has had his fair share of injuries over the past few years so it wasn’t a surprise when Celtic accepted a £3.5m bid for the 27-year-old before the transfer window closed.
The collapse of his move away from Glasgow could now prove to be a blessing in disguise. If he can stay fit and play regularly, the Australian could well prove an invaluable player as the Hoops look to hunt down Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
