Well deserved going by recent performances after bad injury and plays numerous positions ?

Good on him. Wherever he's played no complaints about being played out of position. Or indeed not being played at all. Has performed to the best of his ability wherever he has been asked to play. Been a good servant to the club. He's also the thinnest man I've ever seen!!

Well deserved, can play in multiple positions. Hope he gets a run of starts now.

Very underrated, always does the job for us regardless where he asked to play

Well earned. Talk about stalwart's of the club, big man always ready when called upon and often goes under rated. Great business ?

Yes, he definitely deserves a new contract.
Will he ever be an automatic 1st team pick, no.
However what a fantastic job he does each and every time he is asked to step in, in a lot of different positions. ???— Martin Mc1967 (@Martinmc1967) December 16, 2019
Bitton has been at the club six and a half years, but injury problems have meant he hasn’t played a prominent role in recent campaigns.
However, Neil Lennon’s return to the club coincided with the 28-year-old getting more game time. He was employed in an unfamiliar centre-back role at the beginning of the season, but despite playing out of position, he has performed admirably.
Bitton played very well in the 2-0 win over Rangers back in September, and he has come back into the starting line up to play at the back in Celtic’s last three games against Hamilton, Cluj and Hibernian.
