Celtic manager Neil Lennon has mentioned that the club do need to strengthen upfront in order to take some of the workload off Odsonne Edouard.
With that in mind, this Playmaker FC pundit has suggested that the Hoops should consider free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the solution:
Ibrahimovic is certainly still very capable despite now being 38 years of age. He left LA Galaxy last month after scoring an extremely impressive 31 goals in 31 games.
The Swedish legend also has tons of experience, having played for the likes of Ajax, Juventus, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United during his illustrious career.
Even so, there are some massive obstacles to Ibrahimovic being a realistic target for Celtic. His wages will be astronomical and the Swede is not likely to want to take a pay cut.
In addition, there are a host of other clubs chasing his signature with former side AC Milan believed to be leading the race to sign him.
