There are now four Premier League clubs interested in signing Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard, according to the Daily Record.
The newspaper reports that Tottenham are now “watching developments” while the likes of Crystal Palace, Brighton and Everton are all expected to get involved in a “bidding war” for the Frenchman.
Teams from abroad are also said to be pursuing Edouard, with Rubin Kazan reportedly having tabled a £15.4m bid last week. It appears they may return with a higher offer as the Daily Record claim they are likely to bid £18m for the 23-year-old before the transfer window closes.
Whether Edouard would be interested in moving to Russia, though, it is not known. A switch to the Premier League would probably be his preferred destination, if he had a choice, but we shall see if any of the English clubs make an offer which Celtic deem acceptable in the next day or so.
