Celtic’s Christmas ads are always a lot of fun and 2019 is no exception as the whole squad dressed up for the video shoot.

This year, we’ve got Jonny Hayes dressing up as a cardboard aeroplane, the three goalkeepers as the three kings, and Ryan Christie as Angel Gabriel. It makes absolutely no sense, but that is what we have come to expect from these adverts:

The players clearly enjoy their time doing it, and it also shows up the characters in the squad, which you don’t necessarily see otherwise.

Of course, the idea is to sell as much merch as possible and there are certainly some good gift ideas in the video for Hoops mad supporters to take inspiration from.

With Celtic having secured another convincing 4-0 win against Livingston yesterday, as well, there is certainly a lot of goodwill and festive cheer around the place heading into a busy Christmas period.
