Superstar Celtic midfielder Jota celebrated the Bhoys’ highlight-reel victory over their bitterest of rivals, Rangers, with a post on Instagram.
In the pictures he uploaded, it features five photos – all of which show him scoring Celtic’s third goal against Rangers, from different points in time. The final photo shows a shot of the Celtic fans celebrating his goal rapturously, with flares and flags abundant.
For the Instagram post’s caption, Jota wrote: “Views from the Paradise.”
Jota’s post currently has over 42,000 likes on Instagram. Among those who have liked the post include Alistair Johnson, Ben Doak and former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Jota was one of Celtic’s standout performers in the game against Rangers. Not only did he score the Celts’ final goal of the game, he also assisted star striker Kyogo Furuhashi for his second goal.
Rangers did not go down without a fight – all-star defender James Tavernier scored twice to ruffle Celtic’s feathers – but the Celts simply outscored their rivals Glasgow rivals.
The result put Celtic 12 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table. A title win, at this stage, seems inevitable – but the Hoops still need to finish the job.
