“We’ll Do It” Celtic Boss Postecoglou Signals Intent Ahead Of January Transfer Window

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou claims he will be backed by the club to sign players when the transfer window opens next year.

Asked about the Hoops’ plans ahead of January at the AGM this morning, Postecoglou made it clear that he does have resources at his disposal to go into the market:

“I want to fill some of the gaps which are fairly evident to me. If the right person is there to bring in, we’ll do it”

Postecoglou has been pretty vocal about the need to strengthen the squad further, despite the fact that 10+ players were brought into the club over the summer.

Many believe that a new left-back will be a top priority, but there are also reports that a midfielder and another forward could be signed.

Reo Hatate, Lee Buchanan, Aaron Hickey, Song Min-kyu, Daizen Maeda, Fernando Henrique, Jordan Larsson and Marco Bizot are just some of the names that have been linked with Celtic over the past few weeks. Whether any of them end up at Parkhead, we shall have to wait and see.
