West Ham Join PL Rivals In Race To Snap Up 15M Rated Celtic Star Whose Impressing At The World Cup

West Ham have joined the list of clubs who could make a move for Celtic fullback Josip Juranovic during the January transfer window, according to reports in England.

It is believed that the Hammers have been keeping tabs on the Croatian international as they look at potential replacements for Vladimir Coufal.

The Czech defender has been linked with a switch to Bayern Leverkusen and, if he does seal a move to Germany next month, Juranovic is likely to be the subject of an offer from the Premier League club.

Celtic are open to offloading the right-back after talks over a new contract broke down. There has been talk that the Hoops will hold out for around £15m to sell the 27-year-old but getting that sort of fee does depend on a number of factors.

Juranovic will need to continue impressing at the World Cup and, with Croatia having qualified for the knockout stages, he is certainly doing his part. Competition from other clubs will also be needed for a bidding war.

Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United have been linked with the Croatian in the past but it remains to be seen whether they will join West Ham in making a move for the player.
