Celtic winger Mikey Johnston scored a superb long-range equaliser in the 3-1 win over FK Sarajevo last night.
Neil Lennon’s side had to battle from 1-0 down in Bosnia to come away from the Champions League qualifier first leg with a comfortable lead.
Johnston’s goal was the highlight of the game, but when asked about the strike after the match, Johnston gave a modest reply:
? "Aye, it was alright!" #FKSCEL #UCL

Johnston not only scored on the night, but he also provided the assist for Odsonne Edouard to put Celtic 2-1 up.
The victory was wrapped up when substitute Scott Sinclair applied a clever backheel finish after a cross from Lewis Morgan.
Johnston’s game has come on leaps and bounds recently. He showed glimpses of what he can do last season but his performance last night will get many thinking that he could be a first-team regular next campaign.
