Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has made two appearances for France’s Under 21s. He now has four goals, after scoring another brace for his country in the 3-1 friendly win against the Czech Republic last night.
The first was a close-range finish to bring his side level at 1-1, while the second came midway through the second half, finishing neatly from just inside the penalty box to seal the win.
Supporters on Twitter have once again been praising Edouard for his superb form:
What a player. ? Hopefully here to lead us to ?????????? in-a-row.

I don't see the point in selling players for big money when the board doesn't do anything with the extra cash other than giving themselves a handsome rise every year. We need to hang on to him til we get 10 in a row and in the last 16 of Champions League.

I feel proud he plays for us, in fact I feel honoured to be graced by the presence of Eddy in the Hoops ??

Last week I valued him at £35M, think he will now be £40M. What a player he is turning out to be. Must be close to getting a start with the French ?? first team. Can’t see us holding on to him next season but happy to take the cash from the highest bidder. ??????

His performances for the Under 21s will no doubt give him an extra confidence boost if he even needs one. The 20-year-old has now scored ten goals for club and country this campaign already.
Edouard is almost undroppable the way he is performing at the moment, and manager Neil Lennon will almost certainly name him in the starting eleven when Celtic face Hamilton Academical at the SuperSeal Stadium on Saturday.
