Celtic midfielder Aaron Mooy played a key role as the Hoops restored their nine-point lead at the top of the table with a 2-0 win over Dundee United at the weekend.
The Australian international provided the assist for Jota’s opener just after half-time before slotting the ball away from the penalty spot to make it two only a few minutes.
Mooy has quickly become one of Ange Postecoglou‘s side’s main creative players, and fans on Twitter were praising his form after the match on Sunday:

The 32-year-old’s form since the World Cup has been excellent, scoring five goals and providing three assists in ten appearances.
It should be mentioned that Mooy did initially struggle after first arriving in Scotland, but it’s now clear that he just needed to get minutes under his belt after having not played competitive football for the best part of six months prior to his move. The Australian has turned out to be an excellent addition to the squad.
