Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard scored the winning goal in the Scottish Cup final yesterday afternoon.
The Frenchman went clean through on goal nine minutes from time and stuck the ball away with a composed finish.
Supporters on Twitter were quick to praise Edouard after the game:
Imagine him when he’s played to strength, and fully fit for a season. What a player

Scores in the BIG games, unlike other overrated strikers across the city. Vive la difference!

Hopefully next season has someone playing alongside him. Been left isolated on so many occasions this season. So much talent tho

The strike sealed a 2-1 win and a historic treble-treble for Celtic. Edouard’s brace took him to 23 goals for the season, with many saying that the £9m that the club paid to sign him on a permanent basis last summer was money well spent.
The 21-year-old will certainly need more assistance up front next season, though, with James Forrest and Scott Sinclair the only other two players to hit double figures.
Edouard is proving a big hit with Celtic fans, and with time on his side to improve even further, it will be exciting to see how he develops his game over the next few years at Celtic Park.
