‘Who Needs Rodgers?’ ‘Magic’ – Celtic Fans On Twitter Are Loving Lennon’s Reaction To Last Gasp Winner

Outside of Celtic Park

Celtic got off to a winning start under new manager Neil Lennon against Hearts last night.

The Hoops look destined to draw against ten men but substitute Odsonne Edouard popped up with a winner in the 92nd minute.

Fans on Twitter have already forgotten about coach Brendan Rodgers, and loved Lennon’s reaction to the winning goal:

Considering the difficult situation they were in, having been left in the lurch by Rodgers’ departure to Leicester, the Celtic players managed to refocus and secure a vital win at Tynecastle.

The victory keeps them eight points ahead of closest rivals Rangers in the table, with Lennon getting off to a perfect start to his second stint in charge at Parkhead.

His next game will be against his former club Hibernian in the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup on Saturday evening. He will be hoping to secure his second win as he looks to keep Celtic on course for another treble.
