Southampton are keeping tabs on Celtic right-back Jeremie Frimpong, according to reports in the English media.
The Dutchman only arrived from Manchester City in the summer, and supporters on Twitter do not believe the Scottish champions would consider letting him leave so soon:

The Saints do have a track record of signing Celtic players, with the likes of Victor Wanyama, Virgil van Dijk and Stuart Armstrong having all made the journey to the South Coast.
Still, those three players had established themselves in the Hoops’ first team for a number of years before the Premier League side came calling.
Frimpong has barely been at the club six months and the 19-year-old has thrived since leaving England. There is no reason to believe that the Netherlands Under 20 international would consider moving on, especially as he has already managed to establish himself as a first-team regular despite his short time Celtic Park.
