£4m Polish Ace Named As One Of Four Players Celtic Will Pursue In January

Jagellonia Bialystok striker Patryk Klimala is being pursued by Celtic, according to the Scottish Daily Mail. The 21-year-old, who is rated at £4m, is reportedly on a list of targets that the Hoops are looking at.

Manager Neil Lennon is said to be keen on signing up to four players this month as the Scottish champions look to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.

Klimala is a Polish Under 21 international, but he does lack experience, having made just 78 senior appearances in his career; only 50 of which have been played in Poland’s top flight.

The forward has, though, been in good form this campaign, having scored seven goals in 17 league games, but it would be a step up if he makes the move to Scotland.

Celtic’s other reported striker targets have a lot more games under their belt, with Slovan Bratislava’s Andraz Sporar, Le Harve’s Timo Kadawere and Sheffield United captain Billy Sharp all having been linked.
