Celtic Dealt Injury Blow Ahead Of The Game Against Ross County

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has confirmed that Olivier Ntcham is a major doubt for this weekend’s game against Ross County after picking up an injury in training.

The Hoops boss did not reveal how serious the problem was other than to say that he rolled his ankle, which does suggest that he won’t take any part tomorrow afternoon.

Ntcham was the favourite to start at Parkhead in place of Ryan Christie who is suspended for the match after his sending off against Livingston in the 2-0 defeat before the international break.

It means Tom Rogic is in line for his first league start of the season. The Australian international has had to bide his time following his return to fitness.

The 26-year-old has only had two substitute appearances in the Premiership this campaign, but he did impress against Partick Thistle in the League Cup late last month when he scored and provided an assist in the 5-0 win.
