Celtic midfielder Liam Shaw is joining Motherwell on loan for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old has only made two appearances under manager Ange Postecoglou this campaign and the move to Fir Park will allow him to get more first-team experience.
Supporters on Twitter are mostly behind the decision to loan Shaw out and, after seeing him perform well on his only start against Real Betis last month, they feel the Englishman does have a bright future ahead of him:
Good move for him

Showed a fair bit when we played Betis, which was exciting. Hopefully he gets a fair bit of game time at Motherwell.

Unfortunately for Shaw, there is simply too much competition for places in the middle of the park. In addition to the likes of Callum McGregor, David Turnbull, Tom Rogic, Nir Bitton, Ismaila Soro and James McCarthy, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi have also joined recently.
It will be hoped, therefore, that Shaw can impress for Motherwell before coming back to Celtic Park in the summer ready to compete for a place in the first team.
