Celtic are said to be close to snapping up midfielder Riley McGree from MLS side Charlotte for a fee in the region of £3m.
With fans not knowing a great deal about the Australian international, a video of the player’s best moments posted on Twitter led to many getting excited about the prospect of the club signing the 23-year-old:

McGree has just returned to Charlotte after a fourteen-month stint with English Championship side Birmingham City. It took him a while to establish himself as a regular starter for the Blues but he had begun to put in some very good performances in the weeks before his departure from St Andrews.
Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou is reportedly the one who is the driving force behind the pursuit of his fellow countryman and it will be hoped that McGree can have the same impact as some of the Australian’s other recent signings such as Kyogo Furuhashi, Jota and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
