Celtic attacking midfielder Rocco Vata is being watched by a number of high-profile clubs, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com.

The Italian website reports that Arsenal and Manchester City have been joined by Juventus, AC Milan and Roma in monitoring the player’s progress.

Vata has been impressive playing for the Under 19s in the UEFA Youth League this season. He has started four matches in the competition, getting on the scoresheet during a 2-1 win over RB Leipzig.

The 17-year-old is also a regular for Celtic B, having racked up five goals in the Scottish Lowland League and Challenge Cup so far this campaign.

While Vata was born in Glasgow, he is of Albanian and Irish descent, having been capped by the Republic of Ireland at youth level.

TMW claim that the Hoops could demand up to €2m (£1.75m) for the youngster but we shall see if any team makes a formal approach in a future transfer window.
