Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster saved a crucial penalty late on in the 1-1 draw against FC Copenhagen last night. The 31-year-old tipped the ball onto the post to ensure the Hoops stay in the driving seat ahead of the second leg of their Europa League tie.
The England international is currently only on loan from Southampton until the end of the season but fans on Twitter have been calling on the club to make his deal permanent:

It was reported late last year that the Saints may demand as much as £25m for Forster, which would almost certainly rule the club out from making a bid for the shot-stopper.
However, it was later reported that Celtic do have an option to buy the player on the permanent basis next summer, but the major obstacle to any transfer would be the player’s salary.
Even so, with Forster having enjoyed such a fantastic season for the Scottish champions, he could well be open to taking a wage cut in order to facilitate a move to Parkhead.
