Celtic Among TEN Teams Keen On Snapping Up 6ft 3 Powerhouse

Celtic face tough competition in their attempts to sign FC Nordsjaelland centre-back Abdul Mumin, according to the Daily Mail.

The 6ft 3in defender is available on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract expires but there are nine other clubs said to be looking at snapping up the Ghanaian.

English Premier League side Brighton are believed to leading the way, while the likes of Strasbourg, Nimes, Zulte Waregem, Getafe, Espanyol, Brondby, Mechelen and Gent are also said to be on Mumin’s trail.

For their part, the Hoops are likely to be in the market for another centre-half, especially if they continue playing three at the back.

Manager Neil Lennon does have Jozo Simunovic, Kristoffer Ajer and Christopher Jullien to call upon, but neither Hatem Abd Elhamed nor Nir Bitton are recognised centre-backs so a fourth option is really needed in order to reinforce their numbers.
