Celtic Braced For Bid From EPL Side For 28 Goal Forward

Kyogo Furuhashi

Crystal Palace are lining up an offer for Celtic’s top goalscorer Kyogo Furuhashi, according to reports in England.

The Japanese striker has now scored 28 goals in all competitions this season, following his brace in the 3-2 win over Rangers at the weekend.

After moving from Vissel Kobe at the start of last season, Kyogo has been a revelation for the Hoops and they would be extremely reluctant to let one of their best players leave the club.

It has been suggested that £15m could be enough to tempt the Scottish champions into selling but you would have to think that manager Ange Postecoglou will want to get more than that, considering his importance to the team.

Whether Kyogo would fetch beyond the £25m that Arsenal paid for Kieran Tierney, it is unlikely, considering the forward is 28, but there is no reason for Celtic to sell him unless Palace or another Premier League team make a bid that is too good to turn down.
