Celtic Handed Triple Injury Boost Ahead Of Tomorrow’s Pivotal Europa League Clash Against Leverkusen

Celtic should have Carl Starfelt, Stephen Welsh and Tom Rogic available for the match versus Bayer Leverkusen tomorrow night, according to reports in Scotland.

Starfelt has not featured for the Hoops since he sustained a hamstring problem in the 0-0 draw against Livingston at the end of last month.

Rogic picked up his own hamstring injury a few days earlier, in the 3-1 win over Hibernian, but both have been training ahead of the trip to Germany.

Welsh was also a minor doubt for the crucial Europa League fixture. The centre-back had to be substituted in the second half of the 1-0 victory against St Johnstone in the League Cup on Saturday.

The 21-year-old took a blow to the head after he was elbowed by Shaun Rooney fifteen minutes from the end of the match at Hampden Park.

However, Welsh did not sustain a concussion in the challenge and he will be in contention to start, along with Starfelt and Rogic.
