Celtic Outcast Set To Be Offered Chance To Leave On Loan After Being Frozen Out By Lennon

Celtic winger Marian Shved could be offered the chance to return to Ukraine on loan, according to reports in the Ukrainian media.

Oleksandriya are believed to be leading the way for the 22-year-old’s signature, along with two other clubs, who are said to be keen on taking the player on a temporary basis.

Shved has struggled for game time under manager Neil Lennon this campaign, and the Ukrainian international has admitted that he has simply not been good enough to get more first-team opportunities.

He has made just three appearances for the Hoops this season; none of which have been starts. He did impress when he came on in a Champions League qualifier against Kalju FC back in July, scoring in a 2-0 win.

However, since then, Shved has been restricted to just two cameos. He played the final 15 minutes of the 6-0 win against Ross County back in October, while he got five minutes versus Clyde in the Scottish Cup at the beginning of February.
