Celtic Scouts Watch On As Potential Abada Replacement Scores in 3-1 Win

Celtic had representatives in attendance to watch AEK Athens winger Levi Garcia play against Olympiakos last weekend, according to reports in the Scottish media.

The Trinidad and Tobago international got on the scoresheet with a penalty, helping his team to a crucial 3-1 win over their city rivals.

Garcia, who scored another goal in the 4-0 victory against PAOK Salonika midweek, has been in prolific form, having scored 18 times in all competitions.

The 25-year-old has played mostly as a striker this campaign, but most of his career has been spent as a winger, having been regularly used on both the right and left flanks.

It is believed that Garcia is likely being eyed by Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou as a potential replacement for Liel Abada.

The Israeli international has been sidelined with injury recently, but reports have suggested that talks over a new contract have collapsed, with Premier League teams Southampton and Crystal Palace keen on securing his services.

If an offer is tabled for Garcia in the coming weeks, it could be confirmation that Abada is set to leave Celtic Park.
