Celtic Star Tipped To Make £16m+ Move To ‘A Bigger Club And A Bigger League’ By Teammate

Celtic loanee Mohamed Elyounoussi is predicting that Kristoffer Ajer will move on from the Hoops in the not too distant future because of his talent and potential.

The pair are teammates for Norway, as well as playing for the same club, and Elyounoussi believes that Ajer could even break the £16m record for a Norwegian player that he set when he moved to Southampton last year:

“We’ll see how long we keep Kristoffer. He has been at Celtic for a couple of years and has done very well. I expect to see him in a bigger club and a bigger league.”

“From what I’ve seen of him in the past and now on a daily basis in training and in combat, he is more than good enough for the Premier League. You shouldn’t be surprised if he goes there one day, and even beats my transfer record.”

For his part, Ajer says he is happy to remain at Celtic so there is no concern about the defender leaving Parkhead any time soon.

The 21-year-old has been linked with the likes of AC Milan and Leicester over the past year but the centre-half seems content to continue his development with the Scottish champions.

Ajer has not been at his best at times this season, particularly after he was switched from fullback into the centre of defence, and he will need to prove himself with the Hoops first before thinking about his future further afield.
