‘Might Be The Next Messi’ ‘Got A Cracking Player’ ‘Already Strolling It’ Celtic Fans React As Loanee Gets Off To The Perfect Start

Celtic winger Mohamed Elyounoussi got off to the perfect start on his debut against Hamilton Academical today.

The Norwegian international provided the assist for James Forrest’s opening goal just four minutes into the match at the Superseal Stadium, and supporters on Twitter are already excited about what they have seen from the 25-year-old.

Elyounoussi signed from Southampton on a season-long loan last month. It was only a year ago that the Saints paid £16m for the Norwegian but his first year in English football didn’t go to plan.

He made 19 appearances in all competitions last campaign, failing to score or assist a single goal.

Elyounoussi has already improved on that record in his first game for Celtic and the early signs are that he could be an inspired addition to the squad. Fans will be hoping to see more of the same from the winger over the coming weeks and months.
