Celtic Will ‘Consider Selling’ 24 Year Old Midfielder As They Look To Free Up Funds For Palace Star

Celtic will “consider selling” midfielder Olivier Ntcham during the January transfer window, according to Eurosport reporter Dean Jones:

The 24-year-old has been in poor form this campaign and it is said that the Hoops will look to offload the Frenchman in order to raise funds to sign Crystal Palace’s James McCarthy.

It is believed that the Republic of Ireland international would be interested in moving to Celtic Park, having grown up as a fan of the Scottish champions.

McCarthy has fallen down the pecking order at Palace. The midfielder started the first three league games this campaign but has made just one substitute appearance since the 4-0 defeat to Chelsea back in early October.

In terms of Ntcham’s future, he has been linked with Southampton and clubs in France over the past year but his disappointing recent performances may make it difficult for the Hoops to sell him for a decent fee next month.
