‘Don’t Rate Him At All’ ‘Way Below Standard’ Fans Slam Celtic Star Who Was Substituted At Half Time In St Mirren Loss
Celtic midfielder Aaron Mooy was taken off at half-time during the shock 2-0 defeat to St Mirren yesterday afternoon.
Manager Ange Postecoglou opted to rotate his starting eleven to give some squad players, like Mooy, a chance to impress but he failed to take his opportunity in Paisley.
Fans on Twitter were very critical with Mooy’s contribution in the first half against St Mirren, with many feeling that the Australian international doesn’t have what it takes to be a regular starter for the Hoops:

The decision to snap up Mooy in the summer was a calculated gamble by Postecoglou. The 32-year-old had spent nearly two years in China where he had made only 31 appearances during that time.
It could be argued that the midfielder is very much past his peak, and his ineffective performance yesterday suggests he may not be able to be much more than an impact substitute in future games.
