Fuchs Reveals Transfer Preference As He Confirms Celtic And Rangers Are Among The 6 Clubs Interested In Him

Dundee United holding midfielder Jeando Fuchs has said that he would prefer to move to England when his contract at Tannadice expires in the summer.

The Cameroon international claims that Celtic and Rangers, as well as Stuttgart, Peterborough, Wigan and Blackpool are all interested in him, but he is keen to make the switch south of the border:

“There has been contact with Blackpool, Peterborough and Wigan. Stuttgart have taken information since the summer. There has been from Celtic and Rangers as well, but nothing more. A Premier League club as well. England would be good.”

Fuchs has only been in Scotland for just over a year, having joined Dundee United from Alaves on a permanent basis before the transfer window closed in October 2020.

The 24-year-old is very much someone who is deployed to break up play in the middle of the park, having picked up five bookings in just 15 league appearances so far this campaign.

Celtic are expected to be on the lookout for another midfielder in January but manager Ange Postecoglou appears to be targeting Kawasaki Frontale utility player Reo Hatate to strengthen that area of the pitch.
