talkSPORT presenter and Celtic fan Alan Brazil was not best pleased when he heard ex-Manchester United defender Gary Neville’s comments about the respective atmospheres at Parkhead and Ibrox.
The former right-back had played on European nights at both grounds during his career but Neville said that that Ibrox was the best noise he had heard at a stadium.
Brazil was having none of it and claims he would snub Neville if he ever saw the Sky Sports pundit again:
“I am not talking to Gary Neville, he can get stuffed. He said, in an interview, his greatest ever away atmosphere was Ibrox, has he never played against Celtic at Parkhead?”
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but there are literally hundreds of examples of players from other teams who have praised the atmosphere at Celtic Park. The latest to join that long list was Bastian Schweinsteiger, who tweeted just a few days ago:
Celtic Glasgow. This was impressive!! 👏🏼 https://t.co/4dh9mYJyA8

While the Hoops faced Real Betis away from home in the Europa League yesterday evening, supporters will get their first chance to prove Neville wrong on a European night when they play Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the month.
