Celtic utility player Nir Bitton has certainly more than paid off the £700,000 the Hoops paid for him nearly seven years ago.
The Israeli international is ostensibly a midfielder but, since Neil Lennon’s return to the club, the Irishman has employed the 28-year-old as a centre-back pretty regularly.
One fan account on Twitter asked whether the Hoops should keep hold of Bitton this summer, and the response was pretty emphatic:
He's a keeper ??

Bitton only signed a three and a half year contract extension in December so it is unlikely that he would have been offloaded in the summer anyway.
The Israeli has made 30 appearances in all competitions for the Scottish champions this campaign, with nine starts in the league.
Bitton’s ability to play in a number of positions is certainly one of the key reasons why Lennon opted to keep him on board and he will definitely continue to be an invaluable squad player going forward.
