Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard had a derby to forget as the Hoops drew 1-1 with Rangers at Parkhead yesterday afternoon.
The Frenchman missed a number of chances, as well as being given a contested booking for a dive, and supporters on Twitter are frustrated that the forward is simply not the player he was last season:
He’s an imposter this season has to beat 5 players before shooting every time

I've gave up asking
Gave up on him a while ago
He needs to move on
Played like a spoiled teenager all season and we have had to endure it
Does us no credit
Does him no credit
No more excuses
He came , he played, he soared, he disappointed, he leaves ….— LostBhoy67 (@Graham16589747) March 21, 2021
Another one for the fanboys to gush over when he leaves…ala Tierney, Dembele. They’ve left…get over it. Couldn’t care less wether they have a good career or not beyond the ‘Tic.

As many fans have pointed out, it seems Edouard has one foot out of the door, with his contract set to run down into its final twelve months. His displays had perked up recently, but he has now scored just once in his last five league games.
The cruel irony is, of course, with the 23-year-old having one eye on leaving, his performances will likely reduce the amount that the Hoops can ask for him.
There are a number of clubs, including Arsenal, Leicester and Roma, who are said to be after Edouard so it is hoped that there will be some competition which could drive up the striker’s price.
