Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer did not have the best of games in the 1-1 draw against Hibernian yesterday. The Norwegian international conceded an own goal and looked far from assured as the Hoops came away with a point from Easter Road.
Supporters on Twitter believe the centre-back has been poor in recent weeks and will need to up his game if he wants to stay in the team:
Still a young bhoy still got a lot to learn I agree goes to ground to easily he’s like bambi on ice some time but will defo come good ???

He is prone to errors and should tie his arms behind his back sometimes he just needs coaching still young

2 many costly mistakes also a bit of a wimp , is it going to take a defeat from them before Lenny realises the boy is way overrated I hope I’m wrong

Ajer is a liability. Can't stay on his feet and loves a jersey pull.

Stop going to ground Ajer

AJER will never be a CH he’s a big time liability

A few fans, however, defended Ajer’s form:
Give him a break for goodness sake ??? #Ficklefans

A few mistakes ffs and this is what we get

Can’t believe people are questioning Ajer, the guy is 21 years old he’s bound to go through some bad runs of form

Ajer played at centre half when Celtic succumbed 4-3 to Cluj that saw them knocked out of the Champions League, and was not involved when Celtic put in their best defensive display of the season so far in the Old Firm derby win versus Rangers.
The 21-year-old has actually excelled when played at right-back this campaign, but he’s unlikely to get more game time there with Hatem Abd Elhamed and Moritz Bauer both vying for starts on the right-hand side of the defence.
