Celtic centre-back Kristoffer Ajer is a target for Italian side AC Milan, according to reports in the Italian media. The European giants are considering the Norwegian as an alternative to Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren.
The 21-year-old has developed into an integral member of the first team over the past couple of years, and fans on Twitter don’t believe the club would be open to selling:

Especially if Celtic do sell Kieran Tierney to Arsenal before the English transfer window closes, the Hoops would have no need financially to sell another star.
Ajer is one of three centre-backs that manager Neil Lennon can call upon, along with Jozo Simunovic and Christopher Jullien, and considering the lack of options in defence, it would be very unwise to sell the Norwegian international if they haven’t lined up a replacement.
Nir Bitton has been used there in some recent Champions League qualifiers, but his natural position is in midfield, while Hatem Abd Elhamed has been signed as a fullback. Jack Hendry has also been tipped for a loan move away from Parkhead.
