“Increasingly Unlikely…” Journalist Provides Update On Celtic’s Chances Of Signing 7 Cap International

Outside of Celtic Park

Celtic are not expected to sign Jordan Larsson on a free transfer this summer, according to Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph.

The journalist originally claimed that the 25-year-old’s agents had held talks with the Hoops but it is now thought that the chances of the move happening are very low:

Larsson has been capped seven times by Sweden and he was released by Spartak Moscow at the end of last month so it is not a surprise that he is in such high demand.

With the forward being tracked by clubs in three different countries, it’s likely that he has been offered much better wages by other teams.

Still, the prospect of following in his father’s footsteps could well have tempted Larsson into making the switch to Scotland but, from the sound of things, it appears he won’t be donning the green and white hoops and stepping out onto the turf at Celtic Park.
