Journalist Names The Four Clubs That Are Interested In Signing Celtic Star Who “Nullified” Vinicius

Outside of Celtic Park

Celtic right-back Josip Juranovic has at least four high profile teams pursuing his signature, according to the Daily Express reporter Ryan Taylor.

The journalist has confirmed Gianluca Di Marzio’s claims that Torino have made contact about snapping up the Croatian international but he believes there are better clubs looking to recruit the player:

“Celtic have already held talks with Torino over a deal, but with all due respect to Torino, there’s talk clubs of a bigger stature could be interested as well – the likes of Atletico Madrid; even Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with the player because his contract is running down at Celtic. They’re going to probably have to cash in on a cut-price deal.”

Taylor is incorrect when he says that Juranovic’s contract is running down. The fullback’s current deal will expire in 2026 so Celtic have no reason to sell the player for a low fee, especially after the way he handled one of the best wingers in the world.

A transfer away from Parkhead in January is still likely, with the defender not satisfied with the Hoops’ proposal for a pay rise, but he will leave the Scottish champions on their terms. An offer in the region of £15m to £20m may be required for a sale to go ahead.
