Torino have held “preliminary talks” about signing Celtic fullback Josip Juranovic, according to Sky Sport Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.
The usually reliable journalist says negotiations are not at an advanced stage but there is genuine interest in the Croatian international from the Serie A club:

Donβt think thereβs a doubt he could play at a higher level than the SPL.just think the level of team he should be looking at should be higher than a Torino. But like you say,he might feel he can get regular football at a club like that π€·π»ββοΈ

Chelsea, Manchester United, West Ham and Barcelona are just some of the clubs that have been mentioned as potential suitors for Juranovic so it’s unlikely that Torino will be at the front of the queue for the player’s signature.
Of course, a lot will depend on who can stump up the cash for the 27-year-old. Reports suggest that the Hoops may be prepared to sell for around Β£10m, although the increased demand following his performances at the World Cup could lead to that figure being adjusted.
