Celtic are reportedly interested in signing Maccabi Tel Aviv attacking midfielder Oscar Gloukh.
The Israeli Under 21 international is believed to have turned down a new contract, and Maccabi Tel Aviv’s chairman has already hinted that the 18-year-old could be allowed to leave during the January transfer window.
After watching a compilation of Gloukh’s recent performances, where he showed his excellent technical skills and finishing ability, fans on Twitter are very much in favour of bringing the playmaker to Celtic Park:

One obstacle may well be the transfer fee. It was reported last week that Maccabi Tel Aviv may hold out for as much as £8m, although the fact that the player has rejected a contract extension may mean they could have to settle for a lower fee.
Gloukh’s current deal expires in fifteen months’ time so Celtic could well secure his signature for a reduced price in the New Year, as long as there isn’t too much competition for his services.
