Celtic midfielder Aaron Mooy scored his seventh goal of the season during the 3-0 win over HeartsΒ in the Scottish Cup at the weekend.
The Australian international says he is loving every minute playing for the Hoops:
“It is enjoyable because you feel everything here. Everything you can feel in football, you feel it at Celtic. I’m enjoying the challenge and hopefully, it can be a good season.”
Supporters were less than convinced by Mooy when he first arrived in Scotland, with many believing he was passed his prime, but he has proven the doubters wrong in recent months with some stellar performances. Fans on Twitter are glad that the 32-year-old has made a success of things at Parkhead:
Never enjoyed eating my words more since you came Aaron sorry for the doubts

Seven goals and 10 assists in 37 appearances is not a bad return whatsoever; especially as it is his first season at the club. His slow start was very much down to a lack of match action.
There was a seven month gap between his last game for Shanghai Port and his debut for Celtic so it is no wonder that it took some time to get up to speed. We are certainly seeing the very best of him now, though.
