2019/20

Celtic made history in 2019/20, when they became the first team in Scotland to have completed a domestic quadruple treble – meaning they won the SPFL, the Scottish FA Cup and the Scottish League Cup four years in a row.

It wasn’t a perfect season – Celtic floundered in Europe, losing in the third qualifying round for the Champions League to CFR Cluj. On top of this, they also lost in the Europa League Round of 32 to Copenhagen.

Domestically, on the other hand, Celtic looked almost unbeatable in 19/20. They topped the league by 13 points, inflicting a home defeat on Rangers along the way.
