Another season where Celtic won the domestic treble but struggled in Europe, this one is above the previous entry for one simple reason – in 2017/18, Celtic completely dominated Rangers.
They defeated the Gers on four separate occasions in this one single campaign. Among the wins were a 4-0 hammering in the Scottish Cup and a 5-0 demolition job towards the end of the league season.
Celtic faced little opposition on their way to another league title win. They finished nine points above the team in second, Aberdeen, with a +48 goal difference.
